Reheat Instructions
CONVENTIONAL OVEN (BEST METHOD)
If frozen: Thaw overnight in the refrigerator for best results.*
To reheat:
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Remove any plastic, cardboard, or other non-oven-safe lids and cover the pan tightly with aluminum foil. Place on a baking sheet; heat until the center reaches 165°F when checked with an instant-read thermometer.
Begin checking at 20 minutes for smaller (two-person) entrees and side dishes.
Begin checking at 30 minutes for larger entrees.
Tips for best results:
Keep covered to prevent drying.
Rotate the dish midway through reheating for even warming.
Smaller items (such as hot appetizers) will heat more quickly. Begin checking sooner.
MICROWAVE (QUICK METHOD)
If frozen: Thaw overnight in the refrigerator for best results.*
Transfer food to a microwave-safe dish and cover with a vented microwave-safe lid or loosely tent with microwave-safe wrap.
Microwave on 100% power in 2-minute intervals, rotating the dish between intervals, until the center reaches 165°F when checked with an instant-read thermometer. (Note that smaller items, such as appetizers, should be reheated for 1 minute to start and 30- second intervals thereafter).
Allow food to rest for 1–2 minutes before serving (heat continues to distribute).
GOOD TO KNOW
Unless otherwise specified, all items are fully cooked; reheating is for serving temperature and food safety.
Heat gently - overheating can dry out proteins and break sauces.
Remove any packaging that is not oven- or microwave-safe before reheating.
Food will be hot - take appropriate care.
* In a hurry? Transfer to a microwave-safe dish and use the defrost setting to thaw before reheating—just take care not to start cooking the edges.
